WaSarthi Developer Docs

Guides for getting your business verified, set up, and integrated with WaSarthi.

Business Verification

Before sending messages on the WhatsApp Business Platform, Meta requires your business to be verified. This typically involves confirming your business name, website and legal details.

Essentials

Once verified, you'll register a phone number, set your display name, and configure your business profile (category, description, address, hours).

Account Management

Manage team members, roles and permissions from your WaSarthi account settings. Admins can add or remove agents and control what each role can access.

Messaging Types

  • Session messages — free-form replies within 24 hours of a customer's last message.
  • Template messages — pre-approved messages used to start or continue a conversation outside the session window.

Templates

Templates fall into three categories: Marketing, Utility and Authentication. Each is reviewed by Meta before it can be used.

{ "name": "appointment_reminder", "category": "UTILITY", "language": "en", "body": "Reminder: your appointment is on {{1}} at {{2}}." }

API & Webhooks

Full REST API and webhook access is available on Business and Enterprise plans. See the API & Webhooks page for endpoint examples.
