Last updated: August 2026 · This is a placeholder policy pending final legal review — do not treat as legal advice.
Marketing messages may only be sent to contacts who have given clear opt-in consent. WaSarthi provides tools to track consent, but responsibility for obtaining it lies with your business.
Messages sent outside an active 24-hour customer session must use a Meta-approved template in the correct category (Marketing, Utility or Authentication).
You may not use WaSarthi to send spam, misleading content, or messages that violate WhatsApp's Business Policy, including content related to illegal goods or services, or content that impersonates another party.
Recipients must be able to opt out of marketing messages at any time. WaSarthi supports opt-out handling as part of Broadcasting and Automation.
Meta monitors business number quality based on user feedback (such as blocks and reports). Businesses that violate messaging policy risk restrictions on their WhatsApp Business Platform access.
If you believe a business using WaSarthi is violating this policy, contact us at support@wasarthi.com.
